The Fedora Users and Developers Conference (FUDCon Toronto 2009) is being held at Seneca@York on the first weekend in December. It's a great opportunity to meet, learn about, and join a dynamic open source community. To encourage you to attend FUDCon, the OPS235 professors are offering a bonus assignment:
# Attend [[:fedora:FUDCon:Toronto 2009|FUDCon Toronto 2009]] (see the [[FUDCon Toronto 2009|student sign-upadditional info on the Seneca wiki]]) (minimum: attend the technical sessions on Saturday).
# Prepare a 3-5 page typed report on Fedora and FUDCon, including:
## A description of the Fedora project. (for example: What is the history of the project? What are its foundation principles? Who is involved? How many people participate, and in what ways? How does a team dispersed around the world effectively collaborate? What are the products of the Fedora project, and who uses them?)
