<span style="color:blue;font-weight:bold">msaul: Although it would take a lot of time for Westminster to adopt this approach, this would be a "long-term" objective: To have people working together "online" to solve problems faster.<br /><br />Yes, it would take a long time for people to learn, but think of advantages:<br /><br /> - Less face-to-face meetings (although still important).<br /> - Collaborating, but not necessarily at same time.<br /> - Work on a problem over a week, but still problem solved faster than waiting 4-6 weeks for people's personal schedules to "align"<br /> - Work on problem during "quiet time" (mind more focused on individual's own preference).<br /> - Total transparency and people can see things develop in "real-time".* <br /> - Permanent record of solution.<br /> - When people contribute, they all become "meeting minute takers" - more efficient...</span>
