<li>Power on your PC and boot up UbuntuHH Test and login as 'joker'
with password 'seneca99'.</li>
<li>Open a shell (terminal) and enter this command:<br>
sudo fdisk -l</li>
<li>Write down the output in the previous step - you'll need it in
PART B.</li>
<li>Power off the machine by holding down the power button for
several seconds or until the machine powers off.</li>
<li>Power on the PC and start up Fedora 8 Test.</li>
<li>Login to Fedora 8 Test as user 'joker' with password 'seneca99'.</li>
<li>Open a shell (terminal) and enter these commands:<br>
su -<br>
fdisk -l</li>
<li>Write down the output in the previous step - you'll need it in
PART B.</li>
<li>Now use the fdisk command and delete the entire partition table.</li>
<li>Enter the following command:<br>
partprobe</li>
<li>Power off the machine by holding down the power button for
several seconds or until the machine powers off.</li>
<li>Power on the PC and start up Fedora 8 Test.</li>
<li>Login to Fedora 8 Test as user 'joker' with password 'seneca99'.</li>
<li>Repeat steps 7 and 8.</li>
<li>Start up Firefox and authenticate yourself by visiting
http://senecanet2.senecac.on.ca and entering your LEARN user name and
password.</li>
<li>Browse the web to ensure you have an outside connection.</li>
<li>Open a shell (terminal) and use the vi editor to edit a file
named 'lab00.txt'. Enter your answers to PART B into this file and then
save it and exit vi.</li>
<li>Copy the file to your MATRIX account with the following command:<br>
scp lab00.txt
XXXXXX@matrix.senecac.on.ca:<br>
where XXXXXX is your MATRIX account user name.</li>
<li>Use ssh to login to your MATRIX account.</li>
<li>Check (on MATRIX) that your lab answer file (lab00.txt) is there.
Use the ls command.</li>
<li>While still on MATRIX email your lab answers to your teacher. Use
this command:<br>
