We're looking for:

* This position is suitable for a recent Seneca grad. A contract of 3 to 12 months is available.
* We're looking for someone to maintain (fix buges, add new features) [https://github.com/Seneca-CDOT/simengine SimEngine], a complex high-availability (HGA) hardware simulation system. This is an interesting codebase, which includes Python, JavaScript, C, the Python Circuits library, various JS libraries and frameworks, and a graph database (Neo4J with the Cypher query language).
** Skills required for this position:
*** Strong Python skills
*** Ability to learn new languages, libraries, and frameworks.
*** Teamwork
** Skills considered an asset:
*** Strong JavaScript skills
*** Familiarity with the technologies, frameworks, and libraries already in use by the project
*** Version control (particularly git, Github), including branch management, rebasing, and code review
*** Familiarity with open source communities, practices, licensing, and tools
*** Some experience with scripting and programming in bash, python, or another scripting language
*** Linux usage (including usage and system administration)
