In future labs, you will have to run your VMware Workstation application to boot-up your Centos7 host VM.
Usually, you are NOT required to use this menu (unless you need to "force-off" the c7host7 machine, but should only be performed if you cannot normally shut-down the c7host VM from the OS.
On the other hand, there are useful short-cut key you should use: The VM Workstation application allows virtual machines to run in '''windows mode''' or '''full screen mode''' (which is toggled by pressing the key combination: '''ALT-CTRL-ENTER'''). You can press the key-combination ALT-CTRL in order to return to your host computer system (i.e. running the VM Workstation application. The VM Workstation Toolbar (displayed on right-hand side) can be accessed while in '''full screen mode ''' when the '''mouse pointer is at the top of the virtual machine display'''. You can press the key-combination '''ALT-CTRL''' in order to return to your '''host computer system'''.
Although there are menu items to '''pause''' or '''force a shutdown''' of your VM session, y'''ou should ALWAYS shutdown your Centos7 host VM by normal OS shutdown procedures''' (as you would do with shutting down your real computer).
