==OVERVIEW==
In '''OPS235''', you learned how to install and configure an SSH server to be able to use utilities like such as '''ssh''', '''scp''' and '''sftp'''. Although the '''sftp''' utility is useful for transferring files between different computers via the Internet, it is not considered useful or efficient for accessing files on servers that are connected over a local network. Two popular protocols called '''Network File Server''' ('''NFS''') and '''Samba''' ('''SMB''') are used to provide high speed file access between servers on a local network. The NFS protocol allows a user to access a file on another server in a local network in a similar way that local files on a same server is accessed.
