If the network works in your host, but not in your Virtual Machine, you should perform the following routine steps to troubleshoot the network connection:
== SSH Server ==
The default (and often the onlyway) way to administer a linux Linux server is via SSH. Even if you work in your case where you have a direct console to all your VM screens you may find graphical Linux environment, it helpful is very useful to connect open a terminal and use SSH to monitor and manage your virtual machines using SSH VMs (if nothing else - you can resize the terminal window).
