→‎Install and configure Postfix on a VM

**Set the name of the server that handles outgoing mail:

~~#Edit /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf~~

~~#Set the mailhub parameter to use your VM2 (do the same on your vm1 too).~~

~~mailhub=vm2.<yourdomain>.org~~

**Create the database file of mail aliases

**Check your /var/log/messages file to see that your postfix servers started without error.

***If there are any errors, correct them before continuing.

**Tell your machine to use your newly configured postfix server as its MTA

***Run the followuing command and select postix from the options:

alternatives --config mta
