With the parallelization, we noticed almost no increase in speed. Upon further experimentation, we realized that out memcopy's were what took up all the speed. When looking at the time taken for the search itself when going through the kernel, we noticed an almost 100% increase in speed.
The speed up times of the charts searches are below(including the Memcpy's).

The timing of the kernel command was 0.000000 secs in every case. This shows that the kernel search takes almost no time, and the time is taken by the memalcation's and the memcopy's
