• Watch the spaces

if [ -d "$tmpInternal" ]; then
	rm -r $tmpInternal >> $dateError.txt 
elif [ -d "$tmpExternal" ]; then

fi

• The increment operator in bash

while [ $revTmpInternal -lt $revInternal ]; do

• to check if a file exists:

if [ -f m.patch ]; then
	rm *.patch
fi
