Course Discussion: Future "Tweaks"

Lab 3:

rpm command is deprecated (perhaps an information box indicating rpms for install).
Does deprecated rpm for installation negate rpm -qi ? (affects labs 1, 3).
Look into yum localinstall, yum install, yum info, yum remove, yum repolist.
Should compressing source code be added to lab3? Would make more sense for "flow" of history of Linux installs and better prepare students for assignment #1.
