1. Date & Format

The 2014 FSOSS will be held on Thursday/Friday Oct 23, 24, 2014. The format will be determined later. At the moment, we think that we end up with the same format as in 2013: workshops on Thursday, presentations on Friday.

John to prepare a proposal for the Robotic Competition (format, first email blast, leadup events, ...)

Mar. 10 - Registration Form update

Mar. 31 - Registration Opening, First email blast. Announcement of t-shirt design and robotic competition

Apr. 28 - t-shirt contest blast and posters

Jul. 7 - email blast + opening date of registration

Sept. 16 - "10 Days Left" reminder

Sept. 26 - "Soft" Early Bird

Sept. 29 - Early Bird Extended - email

Oct. 6 - "Hard" Early Bird

Oct 8 - T-shirt order deadline

Oct. 20 - Regular registration ends

Oct. 21 - Badge and bag day

3. Keynote

Need somebody to focus on this task. Decided to extend an invitation to Praveen - she graciously accepted.

4. Sponsorship

Need to involve more faculty in this. Cathy to send an email.

5. Required "fixes"

Registration Form - Dawn, Daman and Emily to form a sub-group to define what we need

FSOSS Web Site - Need full access to all aspects of the web site. Emily to contact Calla and obtain as much information as possible.

Cheque from Alumni - FSOSS 2013 - Evan to follow up

Need to decide on a symposium theme. Currently proposed: "Everyone in Open Source"
