Android: Festivals and Events by Sukhbir

Name: Sukhbir Singh Ghotra -- Android Assignment 2 proposal

I searched for a dataset online which is formatted in XML, which contains the live information of all the festivals and events that take place in the city of Toronto.

After navigating to the link above: Click on “Festivals & Events”, and then in the “Data” section: click on “Festivals and Events XML Feed” which will take you to the actual XML data.

My Proposal:

User will be able to search for a festival/event

- - Display event name, location, start date and end date of event, phone number, etc…

Add a festival/event to “Favorite List”

List of Upcoming Events (For next week or for next 2 weeks)
