Some documentation to get started with (you'll need to find more):

Iptables iptables is a <u>very complex </u> topic. Fortunately, you are not required to become an "iptables expert", but if we don't try to do too much we can get started with it with what we know now and by the end of the course , you'll at least should be able to say you can use iptables, even if you're not an expert at itto properly secure your servers. To give you a taste of the complexity: see what comes up when you search for [https://www.google.ca/search?q=simple+iptables+diagram&tbm=isch simple iptables diagram]. So we'll make our own here:
