Action #2. LCBO License
Daman: Application has been signed and submitted.
Action #4. Food ordering
Daman will need final numbers of participants, speakers and volunteers before the order is placed. The final number will be discussed at the team meeting on Thursday, Oct 3.
Action #6. Modification of Registration Form
Completed. The new form is live.
Action #10. Display posters
Done.
Action #7. Obtain access to past participant records
No progress. This seems to be a systemic problem. We will be discussing this after the symposium is finished (Lessons Learned). Hans to conatact Anil (??? not sure about the name) in a last ditch effort to gain access to the past records.
Action #11. Evite to various sites on the web
Hans to email Yoav to remind him about it. FSOSS web site and Evite are ready.
Action #12. Get info about FSOSS into Seneca News and Event Calendar
Confirmed that the event will take place between 8am and 4pm on Thursday and 8am and 5pm on Friday. Hans to relay this to appropriate people.
Action #13. Post a blurb about volunteer on the ICT web site
Done.
Action #14. t-shirt design
Should be done by Sept 27.
Action #17. Swag from the Rec Centre
Hans is planning to meet them tomorrow.
Action #18. Resolve issue with Robot Competition alias
Done.
Action #20. Budget status update
Info from Daman: Currently we have $1,338 in the account

Done. Emily entered the info manually.
Action #24. Buy water
After some discussion we decided that there is no need for water. But we will need Crackers/Chips/Pretzels/... Ralph to buy at Costco

Action #25. Things needed for Robot Competition
We'll need Extension Cords, Duct Tape and Tables (1/2 table per team + Judge's table) for Robot Competition - Hans to look into this.
Action #26. Robot Display on Friday
John proposed that we have a Robot Display. Decided to park this idea for now. We'll get back to it later.
Action #27. Promote other contests (PopcornMaker, Pricessing.js)
Hans will try to find a contact at Digital Media.
Action #28. Promotional Event on Monday/Tuesday Sep30/Oct 1
- Will use space near Bookstore in SEQ building(Daman confirmed we can use it)
- Duration: from 11am to 2pm
- TV slide show + handouts (Chris to setup the slide show on Monday, Ralph to setup on Tuesday, Emily to print hadouts [poster + competition info on the back side] )
