Video Capture Station Set up for 2010 FSOSS

Hardware: DELL Inspiron 6400 Laptop
- Main Memory: 2048MB
- 160GB Harddisk - share between Window7 and Fedora13

OS Installation

Install from Fedora 13 64bit DVD - Kernel version: 2.6.33.3-85
run yum update after initial installation
reboot system - updated kernel version:2.6.34.7-56

Video Capturing Application Installation

install freeseer - latest version 1.9.7

Video Capturing Hardware driver Installation

install vga2usb driver
configure vga2usb loadable module parameters
