Definition

A Video Studio is an environment to allow for the capture, manipulation and mastering of a video product (i.e. like a movie, a music video, or a stop-motion video).


Ubuntu Studio has the capability of a production studio (both on an amateur or a professional level).

Ubuntu Studio has the following features:

  • Video (non-linear video editor, stop motion photography capture application, and transcoding applications)
  • Audio (multitrack recorder/editor applications + Real-Time Kernel)
  • Graphics (Graphic design and modeling applications)
