The Mozilla project is a global community of people who believe that openness, innovation, and opportunity are key to the continued health of the Internet. Mozilla is best known for creating the Firefox web browser and the Thunderbird e-mail client.
Seneca students and students from a number of other educational institutions worldwide are working alongside Seneca professor David Humphrey, Mozilla's educational liaison, on Mozilla projects. This work is centered in the OSD600, DPS909, OSD700, DPS911, and Real World Mozilla courses. David is also one of the key people behind education.mozilla.org (edmo), Mozilla's global Open Source and Open Web education initiative.
