01 Wednesday

• Working on importing glibc, edits to spec.
• testing performance after changes made to allow builders to pull packages from http.
• began working with newly arrived beagleboard XM.
• met with Evan Weaver.

02 Thursday

• cdot meeting and orientation
• continued work with Beagleboard XM.

03 Friday

• troubleshooting filesystem dchp issue, hostname not set. Resolved. Cdot-guru-2-1 online.
• new file system ready for deployment.
• additional testing on glibc, still not successful.

06 Tuesday

• new file system added to arm3 using sata drive.
• new file system added to arm5 using existing sd card.
• work done on openrd, using new file system.

07 Wednesday

• continued work on openrd.
• brought arm3, arm5 online using new file system, some configuration changes.
• ensure all builders with new rootfs are using correct configs, changes made recently added.
• resolved dhcp issue. Builders were receiving conflicting IP addresses.

08 Thursday

• finished work on openrd
• some issues remain, ip addressing static as not responding to dhcp.
• changing builders over to new filesystem

09 Friday

• moved card reader from scotland to newzealand.
• continued to change builders to new file system.
• met with Chris

13 Monday

• finished changing builders to new root fs.
• all builders online, with new certs, hostname, ready and enabled.

14 Tuesday

• move australia and ireland to the server room (1040)
• blog post on current status of build farm
• mass creation of sd cards to be used in arm machines upon arrival ( started, at first wrestling with hardlinks and rsync on ext2 filesystem. Command works fine on ext3, however doesnt preserve permissions on ext2. Tried ext2 to clear issue with fsck coming up on builders when powered off, however UPS should prevent them from going down.)
