Blackberry Application Development on Linux

To my knowledge, RIM does not yet have native Linux tools for developing applications for their Blackberry phones. This is as of March 3, 2011.

I've read that some people are using the Windows tools under WINE but that not everything works and what does is a little buggy and may not work on all RIM phones.

I've also read that some developers are working with Windows installed into guest VMs on Linux. In my opinion they may as well just buy and use Windows.

Anyway, for now I'll just skip this module and move on to Android development.
