An iSCSI Qualified Name (IQN) takes this form:
iqn.YYYY-MM.domain.reversed.string
Where:
- YYYY-MM is the year and month that your domain was first registered.
- domain.reversed is your domain name, with the components reversed (e.g.,
com.example
). - string is an opaque string you have made up.
