Video Recorder
- Training Date: TBD but likely Monday of FSOSS week
- Date: Oct 28 and/or Oct 29
- Time: 8:00am
- Duration: Full Day
- Location: On campus
- Number of Volunteers needed: 1 (but we can have more than one)
- Description:
We need some faculty willing to learn how to use some video recording software and pass that knowledge on to others at a future time. The equipment can capture what is on a computer screen while recording the speaker's voice. This can also potentially be useful to record other presentations outside of FSOSS. A number of students will also be trained on to do this but it would be good if a few faculty members can do this also

Front Reception Supervision
- Date: Oct 29
- Time: 8:30am
- Duration: 1 hour
- Location: On campus
- Number of Volunteers needed: 3
- Description:
Once the talks begin, the number of student volunteers working in the front reception thins out. However, people will continue to walk in and sometimes there are problems that need to be dealt with that a student volunteer would not be able to handle by themselves. Having a staff member around to help out would be really useful
