Seneca's Android Programming Klub, APK for short, was formed in the fall of 2011. It is a loosely knit group of Seneca staff, faculty and students interested in learning how to write programs for the Android platform. APK is also the file format for Android install packages.

Meetings

We no longer meet as the APK and joined to form the new Linux-Android Club. The website is http://linux.senecac.on.ca/

Projects

Andora Project

We started a new project named "Andora". The purpose is to develop a live CD/USB based on Fedora Linux that contains all current Eclipse/Android tools needed to develop Android apps.

Killer Seneca Android App

In the Jan 19, 2012 meeting, the attendees began the early conceptual stage of an unofficial Seneca Android App.

On March 8th, 2012, Stephen showed a demo of his under-development Android game app project.

In the April 5th, 2012 meeting, Mohamed and Robert showed the project's GitHub Page and demonstrated how to download the repository onto Eclipse.
