The Freedom Toaster was created to make it easy for Seneca College students to quickly burn CD/DVD installation media for some of their courses. This device is easy to use, the user just touches screen and follow instructions in order to burn their CD/DVDs.
The Freedom Toaster is located in the TEL OPEN LAB.
Make sure that the correct versions of the operating system you need are on the toaster. Sometimes they are older and sometimes they are newer than what we're teaching in any particular course.
Patience is required, the procedure should take approximately 7 minutes to complete. For example, do not worry if you are waiting for over 5 minutes while screen still indicates that "less than one minute" is remaining.
