− | As far as operating systems are concerned, I will use whatever works: usually this means Linux, MacOS, or BSD. This preference, however, is hardly religious: operating systems are ultimately just tools and what's really important is whether the solution works. Not to mention, it's always fun to check out some quirky, obscure operating system in search of interesting new ideas.

− | As far as programming goes, my skills lie mostly with the [http://www.perl.org Perl] language, although I'm also pretty handy with a [http://www.gnu.org/software/bash/ bash] script and have recently been spending a lot of time working on learning [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scheme_(programming_language) Scheme] and [http://clisp.cons.org/ Common Lisp]. I first began programming with [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSX_BASIC MSX-BASIC] on an old [http://www.rgp.nl/cx5m/ Yamaha CX5M] with a Z80 processor. Since then, I've mostly continued by tinkering in my spare time, and have dabbled in languages including [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C_(programming_language) C], [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%2B%2B C++], [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal_programming_language Pascal], [http://www.csounds.com/ Csound], [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TI-BASIC TI Basic], [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_Basic VisualBasic] and [http://www.holtsoft.com/turing/ Turing].

− | - A generic, bolt-on debug shell for quick and dirty testing of class methods. '''Note:''' I am currently seeking assistance in developing the portion of the parser that will be used to construct an abstract syntax tree from the tokens. If you have experience that might help, please contact me using one of the methods listed above.

| |
− | - A utility capable of transforming interpreted programs into a dynamically self-decompressing compressed form.

− |
| |
− | - A rather over-engineered dice rolling application for tabletop role playing games.

− | All of the above projects are currently implemented in [http://www.perl.org Perl]. Most of them aren't anywhere near finished. If you're interested in seeing any of them, or think you can help, please contact me using one of the means listed above.
