In a sense, these guidelines become the '''"glue" ''' that helps to maintain holds the smooth operation of the computer labchurch's "system" together. Without policies and procedures there would be ''duplication'', ''miscommunication'', ''inefficiencies'', ''hurt-feelings'', and general ''chaos''.
