Changes

After watching Scott’s presentation it seems his viewpoint on open source revolves around the “freeness” of resources out there. On one of his slides he had, “Free: As in free beer”, and “Free: As in free speech”. These codecs and open video movies are free to use by anyone. Another point that was brought up was collaboration. By making video open and free over the web, it allows people from different disciplines, places, and so on to collaborate on video project. If many people work on the same project, sit it will reduce the creation of new projects that have similar functionality; limiting redundancies.
