Purpose of OpenOffice.org Write

OpenOffice.org Write is very similar to MS Word 2003...

The write application has additional features including:

  • Automatic exporting to PDF document (by default install)
  • Importing of many document formats including .doc' (and '.docx for OpenOffice 3.0 and above)
